How to get to Almeria from Malaga Airport

To travel from Malaga Airport (AGP) to Almeria, you have several transportation options. Here are the most common methods:

1. By bus:

ALSA operates direct buses from Malaga Airport to Almeria.
The journey takes around 3-4 hours, depending on traffic and the specific bus service.
Tickets can be purchased online on the ALSA website, at the airport, or form the bus station.

First, take the airport bus or a taxi to Malaga Bus Station (Estación de Autobuses de Málaga).
From Malaga Bus Station, take an ALSA bus to Almeria. The journey takes about 3-4 hours.

2. By train:

Take the C1 Cercanias train from the airport to Malaga-Maria Zambrano train station.

Currently, there is no direct train or bus to Almeria. This option is usually more complicated and time-consuming than taking a direct bus.

3. By car:

You can rent a car at Malaga Airport and drive to Almeria. The journey is about 200 km and takes approximately 2-3 hours via the A-7 highway.

You can book a taxi or a private transfer from Malaga Airport to Almeria. This is a more expensive option but offers convenience and confort.
